Brandy P. Mills

Brandy Mills began practicing yoga at Hot Yoga Bowling Green shortly after our doors opened in January, 2007. She has been faithfully practicing and teaching with us now for all those years, as she expressed a sincere interest in leading classes just a few months after her initial experiences with Hot Yoga.

Brandy has an inspiring, diverse background in physical fitness. She has been involved in a wide variety of programs in her own personal fitness regimens including cycling, running, Spinning, weight training, boot camp variations, pilates, Karate and other martial arts.

Brandy’s gift is gentle but firm communication with her students. She leads by example, and is very encouraging and affirming. If you never thought of yourself as someone who could perform a ‘full split’, your attitude toward that may be forever changed after experiencing one of Brandy’s high energy, fun classes! She breaks through the common barriers of yoga and embraces the endless possibilities, while being respectful of everyone and every body type and age in her classes. Brandy is continually training in her yoga journey with Hot Yoga Director Tony Bishop, and earned her CYT certificate from this innovative program in 2010. She is currently nearing the completion of 300 hours of yoga teaching experience at Hot Yoga Bowling Green. That is impressive for a yogini who is also a full time pharmaceutical executive, a full time mom to precious daughter Maylee, and dedicated wife to her husband Chris. Brandy has assisted Tony B. during his yoga teacher trainings as assistant trainer and presenter, and is excited about furthering her yoga parameters by delving deeply into every aspect of the art as she moves toward completing her requirements for RYT registration.

She is an elite quality instructor who is also very humble and accessible, having become one of our premier teachers at Hot Yoga. She loves her family and treasures spending time with them boating, swimming, having family gatherings, and she loves her yoga family – designating many hours of sacrifice to advancing her education and skills in her practice and her teaching.
