Meet Andrea Forsythe, owner
Andrea Forsythe, owner, RYT200
My yoga journey began 14 years ago in the hot room and I was immediately drawn back to the practice and addicted to the heat and atmosphere of the space. Fast forward to 2021 and I am a RYT200, currently working on 300 to get to my 500. My initial hatha training was at Hot Yoga Bowling Green with Tony Bishop the former owner at Hot Yoga Bowling Green. My RYT200 was completed in Vinyasa and Yin with Cindy Lundsford in Nashville TN. The above picture is in Costa Rica with Jimmy Barkan after completing my initial Barkan Method training. I am also certified in Yoga Shred and Yoga for Athletes. As of Jan 4, 2021 I am the new owner of Hot Yoga Bowling Green. This journey was a dream that has now become a reality.
I grew up in the 80s (I have the hair to prove it) so my class music will range from the Eagles, to the newest music out depending on class. I love teaching power and challenging my students. My goal is to always teach a doable class that allows for modifications and advancements for all skill levels. I want my students to feel exhilarated, accomplished, calm, motivated and happily exhausted at the end of class. Yoga has tremendously helped me with stress (my former career and life in general) and I try to pass that along to my students and give students space to calm their mind and body through their practice. Yoga has empowered me and humbled me and it is a practice that I love to share and talk about with anyone who will listen. I hope to see you on the mat sharing your practice and yoga journey with us here at Hot Yoga Bowling Green.
The other pic is our official mascot and my baby girl, Macey. She is absolutely famous for being the most photogenic dog ever, my opinion. I truly work so she can live the dream. #agirlsbestfriend
