Jillian began yoga classes at Hot Yoga Bowling Green early in 2007, and as an account executive in the medical profession, she could immediately appreciate the benefits of the experience through her knowledge of health and wellness.

She is an experienced runner, cyclist, interval trainer, and is an outstanding communications practitioner in her current profession.

Originally hailing from the great state of North Carolina, Jillian has resided in the Bowling Green area for the past 10 years and loves the people she has come to know during her time at Hot Yoga.

She began simply taking a class here and there, soon finding herself ‘hooked’ and with a deep desire to expand her great ‘addiction’ into teaching and sharing her newfound lifestyle. Jillian enrolled in Tony Bishop’s intensive training program in early 2010, continues to practice and study in her off hours from her career, and is working toward achieving her 200 hour RYT requirements.

Her gift to all her yoga students is leading by example including an emphasis on physical strength with power and breath control. Jillian possesses a rare calmness for a teacher so skilled physically, thus is especially adept at helping her students keep their heart rate under control while increasing strength and endurance.

Jillian has seen her flexibility and her overall fitness levels increase dramatically since beginning her practice almost 5 years ago, and has lost body fat while building muscularity, definition, lung function and mental clarity.

She says that as great as the physical benefits of her practice are, that clarity of mind and calming of spirit are what keep her committed, and looking forward to teaching her next class at HYBG. She presents her classes with renewed vigor every time, as no two of her sequences are exactly alike – embracing variety – and no two of her musical profiles are identical. You will probably hear music in Jillian’s classes that you never hear in anyone else’s profile… adding that extra bit of spice to your life! You can expect to get fitter, but at the same time more appreciative and calmer by enjoying Jillian’s great style of presentation.
