Meet Trinity Gonzalez
Trinity Gonzalez, CYT
Trinity ‘G’ is a longtime yogini and supporter of Hot Yoga Bowling Green, from our first year of operation! She still talks about the first time she walked into the yoga room and said aloud, “Seriously…it’s HOT!” But she soon discovered that the heat acclimation is simply a wonderful and very necessary element in the daily process which is the Hot Yoga journey. It’s one of the things she now loves about the experience of regular practice, and one of the things that separates Hot Yoga from everything else she’s ever done. Trinity’s gift to her yoga students is her passion for sharing. She is a very “together” presenter and what business professionals describe as a ‘product of the product’… meaning that she has been in the position of all her new yogis and yoginis, seeking to get healthier and lose a little body weight while having fun at the same time.
Well, did she ever! She has now lost more than 25 pounds, and along the way became inspired so much she decided to begin her study to teach yoga.
Trinity began training and practicing sequence preparation, music coordination, and verbalization with Tony Bishop, and then in March 2010 she completed Tony’s innovative intensive training and began her teaching practicum.
Trinity ‘G’ has since evolved into one of the most energetic, informative and entertaining teachers at the Hot Yoga studio. She is especially known for her creative and imaginative music profiles — blending everything from alternative rock and current pop music to hip-hop, classic rock and R&B. You may hear some music that you would not have heard on your own, and love it!
During her current rise to Hot Yoga leadership status, Trinity has also taught yoga at other venues including WKU, where she is employed as evening Director at the Downing University Center. And along the way, the most exciting event of her life – the birth of her beautiful daughter Eva – took place in 2011. After 10 months off from teaching yoga in the wonderful heat, Trinity is back and better than ever! She loves it more than ever before, too and as she says, “I am so passionate about my hot yoga journey, and I was fortunate enough to become a teacher so I can share that passion with others. I thank God for my life, my wonderful husband Jesse and new baby girl Eva. And, we can’t forget my first two “children”, my westies Jack and Lulu!”
As much as she loves Hot Yoga, Trinity loves her yoga students all the more, and strives to continue improving, innovating, advancing and challenging herself and everyone around her to be inspired and to be their best. If you have never experienced one of her unique and positive yoga classes, schedule yourself to attend one of Trinity’s topnotch sequences. She teaches alternatively on Saturday afternoons, and some evenings and mornings during the week on a rotating basis. She continues to research, train and practice with Tony Bishop in the unique HYBG education programs.
