Yoga Studio Etiquette

  • Sign up EARLY to reserve spots and reduce your check-in time
  • Be present, signed in, and in the room 10 minutes before class or earlier if you need to make payment arrangements or make purchases
  • Door will be locked during class times promptly at start time, late-entry is not permitted
  • Keep cellphones and devices outside of the studio as they are not permitted on person or in the hot room. No exceptions unless first responder/on call status has been approved by studio owner

During

  • This is a quiet space before, during and after class. We love community but want to make sure that the mat is a place of reflection, your conversations can wait until the locker room
  • Stay in the yoga room the entire class, if you need a break please come into a resting pose on your mat but we strongly recommend that you stay in the room as it’s the safest place to be.
  • Leaving early is disruptive to the entire class and creates additional safety concerns as the full hour is programmed to allow you time to calmly cool down. Please speak with the studio owner and instructor about leaving early.
  • You are not responsible for anyone other than yourself. Please refrain from trying to assist other students in poses or the instructor in how to maintain the classroom. You work hard all day, let the staff take care of this one hour.
  • Clean up after yourself as best as possible and try not to leave things in the studio
  • Anything you rent can be returned used in the hamper in the locker room
  • If your teacher provides blocks/straps/aromatherapy cloths they will direct you how to return them… when all else fails please use the hampers
  • Please keep showers quick and In the interest of keeping things moving in the locker room, keep your grooming limited to the basic, getting-ready routine
